Garin’s hometown, the small island of Young-do, has a legend known to all who live there. The mountain god curses every person who leaves Young-do and will face all kinds of misfortune.  “If… If… you’ve cursed me… If you lift it… I’ll do anything!”  “I’ll grant your wish, but in return…”  “Give yourself to me and become my bride.”
